An established industry player is seeking a skilled utility systems technician to ensure the maintenance and repair of essential systems within a behavioral healthcare facility. This role involves hands-on work with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of utility systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, in a behavioral healthcare facility.
This position is scheduled to work Wednesdays through Sundays. Monday and Tuesday will be the scheduled days off.

Essential Functions
Install, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the facility.
Perform routine maintenance on utility systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Troubleshoot and repair utility systems and equipment as needed.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for repairs and upgrades to utility systems.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on utility systems.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Monitor utility systems performance and identify areas for improvement or upgrades.
Respond to on-call pages after-hours. On-call is handled via rotation among the team. Expect to be on call roughly (3) or (4) weeks of the year, for a one (1) week duration each time.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Valid US driver's license required.
Hoisting license preferred.
Experience
Experience in the maintenance and repair of utility systems, preferably in a facility setting. 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and equipment.
Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Ability to operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
