Provides services in complete building and grounds maintenance for all facilities to which assigned.

Position Responsibilities

Maintenance Activities:

Plan and design appropriate method for which maintenance is to be done. Perform preventative maintenance on all facilities; including exterior and interior walls, ceilings, floors, etc. May be required to perform maintenance of associated grounds. Order needed materials for maintenance projects.

Equipment Operation:

Operate related equipment as assigned.

Manual Labor Task:

May be required to perform manual labor tasks that require the lifting and carrying of objects weighing twenty-five (25) pounds or more.

Equipment Inspection:

Perform pre-operational inspection of equipment to ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment. Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Duties include the maintenance and minor repair of related equipment. Skills and knowledge are typically acquired through a High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related work experience. A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days, the ability to pass a pre-employment driving physical, the ability to lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or more and the ability to operate equipment to which assigned is required.
