Job summary

City of Maypearl is seeking skilled personnel to perform the construction, replacement, repair, installation, and cleaning of the city’s sanitary sewer, storm collection and water distribution systems. • Minimum of two (2) years of construction or maintenance experience working with pumps, valves, water and sewer systems, and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, repair, and maintain water, sewer, and storm lines and related facilities.
• Operate construction equipment including dump trucks, backhoes, and hydrants.
• Respond to public requests and emergencies; perform routine tests and record results.
• Locate underground services and install water meters when needed.
• Test, repair, and replace fire hydrants and backflow devices.
