Job summary

ANDRITZ in Concord, NH, is seeking a Utility Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate lathe and roll rotating equipment, roll grinders, rubber mills and other assigned machines. Reports to the Plant Superintendent.

Responsibilities include trimming and skimming rolls, preparing factory orders, learning new equipment, and performing maintenance and housekeeping tasks with or without supervision. On-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: On the job training will be provided. Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Trim and Skim rolls to pre-grind specifications.
• Cut locking grooves per SPI specifications when needed.
• Complete paperwork as necessary on factory orders and roll receiving reports.
• Learn to operate new equipment.
• Mixing of prepared raw materials for covering process.
• Keep machine and area clean.
• Be willing and able to proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
• Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting, and miscellaneous tasks as needed and or as directed by supervisor.
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and bending).
