Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Concord, NH to support maintenance of buildings, grounds, machines and assets at the facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the technician will safely operate tools, troubleshoot pumps and electrical systems, read prints, and execute preventative maintenance schedules.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and about 2 years of relevant experience or technical training, with PLC and HVAC knowledge plus ability to work off-schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience, or 2 years technical training preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, PLC controls, motor controls, HVAC a plus; drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations.
• Work alongside production staff and contractors.
• Troubleshoot pumps, 440V 3-phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Identify necessary parts for maintenance and report to Shop Superintendent.
• Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
• Willingness to work off-schedule shifts to perform urgent maintenance.
• Perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting, and related tasks as directed.
• Proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
• Use computer skills (Word/Excel).
