SAM, a nationwide leader in geospatial and construction-phase solutions, seeks a Damage Prevention Specialist in Westerville, OH. You will liaise with homeowners, contractors, and the gas utility to promote safe excavation, ensure accurate utility markings, and support compliance with state 811 dig laws.

Responsibilities include visiting active job sites, coordinating updates to gas markings, documenting daily field findings, and performing basic maintenance on tools and equipment.

• Previous experience with locating utilities required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company MVR standards.
• Work outdoors under the full range of weather conditions typically experienced throughout all seasons of the year.

Your Impact at SAM

The Damage Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in preventing utility damages by serving as a liaison between homeowners, contractors, and the gas utility. This position promotes safe excavation practices, ensures accurate utility markings, and supports compliance with state 811 dig laws.
