ACRT, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility Capital Forester to inspect and evaluate trees along utility lines, and to coordinate clearance crews. You will report findings to clients, plan field work, and serve as a liaison between crews and customers.

Ideal candidates have a forestry or environmental degree, GIS experience, and strong communication skills. The role requires field work, varied terrain, and occasional nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry, environmental science, natural resources, or related field.
• HS diploma with 2 years of UVM experience.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• Competent in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently over a geographic area.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations for clients.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate line-clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate access issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
