Job summary

Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Utility Operator C to assist in packaging charcoal briquets. The role covers multiple packaging positions, including stacking and folding, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot packaging equipment, train new wrappers, and perform quick line changes while maintaining safety standards. Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and operate all positions within area.
• Ability to identify quality defects and source of defects.
• Ability to train new wrapper operators.
• Ability to complete roll changes within 3 minutes or less; line change over in 15 minutes or less.
• Ability to operate multiple lines (3 different machines).
• Ability to complete FROI and do RCA along with Supervisor.
• Ability to effectively perform 5S audit.
• Ability to Train B Operators on pre-shift setup and PMs for equipment.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to troubleshoot and operate all positions within area
• Ability to identify quality defects and source of defects
• Ability to train new wrapper operators
• Ability to complete roll changes within 3 minutes or less; line change over in 15 minutes or less
• Ability to operate multiple lines (3 different machines)
• Ability to complete FROI and do RCA along with Supervisor
• Ability to effectively perform 5S audit
• Ability to Train B Operators on necessary pre-shift setup and how to perform PMs for necessary equipment
• Standing for long periods of time
• May involve repetitive movements
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
• Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature

conditions
