Job summary

Royal Oak is hiring a Utility Operator C to support the packaging of charcoal briquets. The role involves operating the packaging line, stacking bags, folding, diverting bags, and working across multiple positions on the line.

It is a first shift position from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays when needed. Applicants should be prepared to maintain a clean work area, identify quality issues, and lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Packaging line experience preferred for charcoal briquet packaging.
• Ability to perform stacking, folding and bag diverting on the packaging line.
• Must be able to work 1st shift, from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging line and assist with different line positions as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and identify quality issues on the line.
• Stack bags to meet pallet quantity and configuration within allotted time; may involve repetitive movements.
• Support production as needed to ensure smooth packaging operations.

Description

Royal Oak is looking for a Utility Operator C. This position is responsible for the packaging of charcoal briquets. Packaging line workers are required to work several different positions on the packaging line, such as: stacking, folding, diverting bags, etc. This position is for 1st shift; 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday and Saturday's when needed.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Maintain a clean work area
• Identify quality issues
• Can stack bags at required pallet quantity and configuration within allotted time
• May involve repetitive movements
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
