Job Description Utility Lead Req Id: 11552 Job Location: Roxboro Posting Start Date: 5/7/25 Work Environment: Onsite

Job Purpose

Operate a simple piece of equipment as assigned, under daily direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned equipment requiring basic instructions.
  • Check supplies to ensure smooth operation.
  • Make minor adjustments to maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Provide relief support for line positions during breaks.
  • Perform general clean-up and utility duties, including sweeping, lawn care, trash pickup, painting, and equipment cleaning.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications for Success

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of equipment operation.
  • Understanding of line position duties and functions.
  • Knowledge of plant clean-up and utility functions.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to read and understand safety regulations.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-6 months of relevant experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating key responsibilities.
