Qualifications

• One year of heavy highway, road, concrete, form setting, or bridge construction laborer experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for long periods.
• Basic labor skills and familiarity with construction environments.
• Knowledge of operating hand and power tools; flagging/traffic control certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding tasks on construction projects.
• Assist concrete, drainage, and retaining wall crews as needed.
• Load and unload materials; operate hand and power tools.
• Flag traffic and set up traffic control; maintain site safety.
• Work in varying weather conditions and follow safety guidelines.
• Enter mixer to chip as required and perform plant labor duties.
