Utz Brands, Inc. is seeking a dependable Utility III for the Weekend Day Shift in Hanover, PA. You will operate and monitor packaging lines to produce our snacks, while supporting a fast-paced production environment.

The role offers a Friday through Sunday schedule from 5:55 AM to 5:55 PM. We provide on-the-job training, safety protocols, and opportunities to advance within a long-standing snack foods company.

• On-the-job training provided to learn procedures.

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role where you can build your skills, take ownership of the production process, and enjoy a 3-day workweek?

Utz Quality Foods is looking for a dependable and motivated Utility III to join our Weekend Day Shift team in Hanover, PA. In this role, you’ll play an important part in making some of our most recognizable snacks by operating and monitoring the equipment used to produce our cheese curls and cheese balls.

If you enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced production team, this could be a great opportunity to grow your career with Utz. This position works Friday through Sunday 5:55AM-5:55PM.

Responsibilities

• Unload potatoes.
• Maintains and operates a forklift.
• Spudnik Operator
• Participate in require cleaning.
• Must be able to lift at least 85-lbs. head high on occasion.
• Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Requires knowledge of the preparation procedures for packing and the location of the product’s storage area acquired through one month of on-the-job training.
• Moderate lifting (up to 25 lbs).
• Pulling or pumping jacks carrying up to 250 lbs.
• Must pay constant attention to keep accurate record of items moved.
• Check computer for scanning errors
