Job summary

Utz Brands, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking a dedicated Utility I to join our manufacturing team at the Broadway facility.

You will inspect and pack quality products into boxes, cartons, cans and specialty containers, working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves rotating through multiple positions such as Packer, back-up QA, and Lineperson, with opportunities to grow while upholding food safety and quality standards in a leading snacking company.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with machine speeds.
• Communicate and understand basic English commands.

Responsibilities

• Be flexible with training and rotate through various positions as needed.
• Packer (Primary role); Back up QA; Lineperson.
• Ensure quality and food safety tasks for the assigned position.
• Perform basic sanitation duties weekly or as needed.
• Set up mats and cartons for packers before production begins.
• Prepare packing area for packaging different products.
• Provide coverage for breaks and lunches as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Utility I to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our Broadway facility.
As a Utility I, this candidate will be responsible for inspecting and packing quality products into boxes, cartons, cans, and specialty containers in a team atmosphere while responsible for their individual station.

Responsibilities

• Be flexible with training and rotating through various positions as needed and the individual responsibilities they entail.
• Positions including:
• Packer (Primary role)
• Back up QA
• Lineperson
• Ensure quality and food safety tasks are completed for assigned position.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and basic understanding of quality and food safety standards.
• Flexibility to rotate through different positions as needed.
