Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Dalton, Georgia is hiring for a manufacturing/operational role focused on safe, efficient production in an industrial environment. This position supports a range of tasks to meet daily output goals while upholding quality standards.

You will operate various equipment, move materials, perform housekeeping, and assist with other duties as needed. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team-oriented setting with a willingness to learn

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lift Truck Certification preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• May be required to use department specific database systems.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and operating machinery preferred.
• Must be able to pass a color‑vision screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate different kinds of machinery to support production goals.
• Perform custodial/janitorial tasks as needed to maintain a clean work area.
• Handle raw materials and final products as needed.
• Fill in for other operators as needed to ensure workflow.
• Inspect for quality, malfunctions, and defects as needed.
• May perform inventory, clerical, or administrative tasks.
• May operate powered industrial trucks/equipment such as lift trucks.
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all standard operating and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Primary Objective:
