Job summary

Iron Mountain Foundry LLC is seeking a forklift operator to support production, safely moving materials and organizing castings, patterns, and cores throughout the Module. You will perform tasks with attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency, while following established procedures to minimize delays and maximize output.

The role requires certification on forklift operations within 2 weeks of start, strong housekeeping, and reliable data entry into production logs.

Perform various support or relief duties throughout the Module. Operate forklift to transport materials, distribute and organize castings, patterns, cores, etc. in assigned areas as necessary. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

Requirements

Exhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping at all times. Perform various support or relief duties throughout the Module. Enter data into production logs or other data systems. Operate a fork truck or other mechanized equipment, as necessary, to perform function.

Must be able to certify on forklift operations within 2 weeks of starting position.
