Qualifications

• Total helicopter flight time of 2,500 hours.
• 150 hours in Airbus AS350 series helicopters.
• 150 hours of external load experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily preflight and post-flight duties and flight planning.
• W&B calculations and passenger briefing as required.
• Operate helicopters in remote locations under VFR conditions.

Mountain Air Helicopters, Inc. is seeking full-time experienced utility helicopter pilots. Mountain Air is a 23 year, US based Utility Helicopter company operating under FAA Part 135/133/137. Our primary flight operations are helicopter support for challenging helicopter projects and fire support for various federal and state agencies. We are a busy company with projects primarily in the western US. • 2,500 hours of helicopter flight time
• 150 hours in Airbus AS350 series helicopters
• 150 hours of external load experience
• Meet applicable USFS/OAS pilot carding minimums and complete required interagency check ride.

Missions include:

• External load with 50', 100' and 150" long line
• Powerline Construction support - Foundation support / pole replacement
• Core and Micro-pile drill support
• USFS and OAS Fire Fighting (EU and CWN)
• Aerial mulching and seeding
• PSD and Heli-torch burn projects
• Geophysical survey

• Daily rate + hourly flight rate + extended pay, commensurate with experience

• Daily per diem when away from home

Duties include daily preflight, FRaT, post-flight, document daily records, prepare flight plans, W&B, passenger briefing. Pilot will fly aircraft in remote locations and varied outdoor conditions (VFR only). Work with customers as the liaison for customer relations. Complete company annual flight and ground training. Meet USFS/OAS certification minimums and complete Interagency check ride as required. Pilots must work well with peers and represent our company in a professional manner. Adhere to FAA regulations, hold integrity to a high standard and place safety of self, passengers, and aircraft first.
