Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a maintenance helper to perform general lawn care and assist utility crews at our Florida operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning water facilities, assisting with pumps and electrical equipment, and performing site maintenance with various tools. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, follow safety rules, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• General understanding of lawn equipment operation and maintenance.
• Willingness to put forth extra effort and follow directions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including lawn care and site clean-up.
• Assist utility maintenance crews with assigned tasks on water facilities.
• Work on pumps, motors, electrical equipment and related systems.
• Operate tools and equipment safely following OSHA standards.
• Attend safety trainings and adhere to company safety policies.
