What Can You Expect

• Assemble and install piping systems for water, fire, sanitary, and storm sewer applications.
• Prepare written daily reports to document the work for a given project.
• Coordinate with the superintendent to maintain the project schedule.
• Ensure quality standards are met. This includes scheduling inspections as required by project specifications.
• Place orders for materials and be responsible for equipment and materials onsite.
• Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.

What You Bring to the Table

• Understand means and methods of construction associated with earthwork, site utility and concrete construction.
• Possess extensive knowledge of the trades and the work involved, along with an ability to resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions.
• Ability to understand the function and purpose of the final product and use that knowledge to challenge the appropriateness of the work in progress.
• Understand how to effectively staff self-performed work activities to achieve levels of productivity that meet or exceed industry norms.
• Working knowledge of or willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: MS Outlook, Raken and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
• 5 years of experience in a foreman role in site grading and utility work.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
