Job summary

Altium Packaging in Turners Falls, Massachusetts is seeking a Utility Floor Person for a 12hr-C shift to manage resin and regrind, inspect and pack products, and report production metrics.

You will mix resins with color concentrates, ensure machines run the correct resin, keep mixing areas clean, recycle rejects, perform on-line quality checks, label finished goods and generate case count and other reports for shift supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience with resin mixing and color concentrates.
• Ability to inspect, test, and report product quality.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shift and overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Mixing resins and color concentrates to supply the molding machines with correct material mixtures.
• Ensuring each molding machine is running the correct resin.
• Keep areas for resin mixing and storage, clean and organized.
• Sorting, cleaning and granulating flash and rejected product to maximize reuse and minimize loss.
• Perform on-line visual inspections of product, quality testing and quality rejections of nonconforming product.
• Affixing sleeves, labels and stickers to finished product.
• Packaging of finished product.
• Reporting case count sheets, quality inspection and other reports to shift supervisors and managers.

Work Shift

12hr-C Shift (United States of America) The Utility Floor Person is responsible for; controlling resin and regrind; inspection and packing product and reporting on production.

Mixing resins and color concentrates to supply the molding machines with correct material mixtures.

Ensuring each molding machine is running the correct resin

Keep areas for resin mixing and storage, clean and organized

Sorting, cleaning and granulating flash and rejected product to maximize reuse and minimize loss

Perform on-line visual inspections of product, quality testing and quality rejections of nonconforming product.

Affixing sleeves, labels and stickers to finished product

Packaging of finished product

Reporting case count sheets, quality inspection and other reports to shift supervisors and managers

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Targeted Pay Range

$21.00 - $26.88
