Job summary

Pedernales Electric Cooperative seeks a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain equipment for utility projects at the Kyle office. You will transport gear, assist line crews, and document work in electronic systems, supporting efficient project completion.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma.
• Three years of heavy equipment training and related work experience.
• Valid Texas Class A CDL and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) per PEC policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and service equipment and vehicles as assigned.
• Transport equipment and material to and from job sites.
• Use equipment for pole-setting, hole-digging, tree-trimming and ROW clearing.
• Assist line crews with construction and service of lines and poles.
• Load and unload materials; enter data into electronic systems.
• Maintain hour and travel logs; stay current with technology advances.
• Manage digging operations and drive PEC vehicles lawfully.
• Keep confidential information secure and maintain attendance.
