Job summary

City of Emporia, Virginia is seeking a skilled operator to perform intermediate semiskilled work operating a range of heavy equipment and to maintain assigned machinery. The role requires a high school diploma and considerable experience with heavy equipment.

Applicants must hold a Virginia CDL and a VDOT Flagger certification upon hire. Competitive benefits are offered with this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school and considerable experience in the performance of heavy manual work and in the operation of heavy motorized equipment.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specific requirements listed above
