Athens Services in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Utility Driver (Non CDL) to safely operate a heavy-duty truck and support waste and environmental services operations in the area. The role requires a valid Class C license and at least six months of heavy labor experience.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow safety rules, and work closely with supervisors to improve efficiency. Forklift certification is a plus and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License required.
• Minimum six months of heavy labor experience.
• Acceptable driving record (H-6 printout may be requested).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks including belly dumps, dump trucks, roll-offs, and tractors with attached trailers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Follow Athens Services Safety Rules and report unsafe situations.
• Participate in scheduled training, briefings and safety meetings.
• Cooperate with Supervisors to improve efficiencies and identify unsafe acts.
• Attach/detach pup trailers and tarps as needed; monitor gauges during operation.
