Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Food Service Associate to prepare and deliver meals to patients in a hospital setting. You will stock pantries, maintain inventory, and ensure accuracy of billing records. The role requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and patient-identification procedures.

The position is full-time with a 24-hour shift structure. Strong English communication, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset are essential. ServeSafe certification is preferred.

Job Description:

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.
