Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in Overland Park, KS is seeking a part-time/full-time Utility/Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. You will wash dishes, pots, and pans, keep work areas clean, and assist with light food prep while providing friendly service to staff and clients.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a $2.50 weekend shift differential, paid weekly via direct deposit. This role offers diverse hours, teamwork, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide hospitality provider.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans manually or with dishwasher equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Receive product from vendors and organize stock.
• Return clean dishes and cooking equipment to storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Help rotate and clean the walk-in cooler and assist with food prep.

Utility Job Summary

The Utility reports to the General Manager. This Utility responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment. Representing not only the client but NEXDINE as well, this Utility needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job.

Utility Essential Functions And Key Tasks

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using Dishwasher / Utility Workers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler
• Assist with food prep
• Other duties of the Utility Worker are assigned by the Chef Manager
