Job summary

Continental Services at Stellantis AH seeks a dependable Utility - Dishwasher to support a busy cafe environment. You will collect used dishes, load and operate dishwashers, wash items by hand when needed, and keep pots, pans, and utensils clean and stocked while maintaining sanitation standards.

The role involves shift work with possible evenings and weekends, contributing to a positive dining experience for customers in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china).
• Store clean pots, pans, dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Ensure there are always enough clean pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and notify supervisor when necessary.
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor, walls, doors and handles.

Compensation: $18.38 / hour

Description

A Utility Team Member responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading dish washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. In addition, collecting garbage, sweeping, mopping and upkeep of the overall cleanliness of the facility inside and out. If you want to kick start your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we'd like to meet you. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, during evenings or weekends. Ultimately, you'll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers.

Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
