Position: Utility | Culinary Support Enthusiast | Dishwasher

Position Summary:

Responsible for the storage and sanitation of all china, silverware, and glassware in the hotel.

Essential Functions:

1. Operate dishwashing machines.
2. Ensure dishwasher temperature is within the specified range and chemicals are properly connected.
3. Clean and disinfect dishwashing machines in the evening.
4. Sweep and mop floors; check for hazardous broken items and remove hazards.
5. Clean walls, tables, racks, sinks, floor mats, and disposal areas.
6. Clean ovens, hoods, filters, drains, hot boxes, and ceiling vents.
7. Empty all trashcans.
8. Perform special cleaning projects as assigned.
9. Follow safety procedures when using all equipment and chemicals.
10. Maintain proper temperatures for washing, rinsing, and pre-soaking all items.
11. Receive deliveries and organize stock items.
12. Sanitize items not suitable for dishwasher cleaning.
13. Maintain cleanliness of loading dock and dumpster area.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Adhere to all hotel work rules, procedures, and policies, including those in the employee handbook.

- Be flexible with shifts, as the hotel operates 24/7 and schedules may vary based on business needs.

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to stand for long periods.

- Ability to lift heavy objects.

Compensation: $16 hourly
