Job summary

Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is seeking a Utility Construction Worker to join its sewer and water division. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment on fast-paced job sites, coordinating with the Utility Construction Team to deliver results with a no-excuses attitude.

This role requires strong judgment, the ability to manage challenging situations, and excellent written and verbal communication. Occasional Saturday work and travel are expected as part of field operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with operating heavy equipment (REQUIRED).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience in sewer & water installation (preferred).
• CDL License a bonus.
• Ability to work on Saturdays when necessary.

Reports To: The Utility Construction Worker will report to the supervisor of the Utility Construction Team.

Job Overview: The Utility Construction Worker will be responsible for being a part of the sewer and water/utility construction division of Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc. The right individual thrives in a very fast paced environment, works well under pressure, and delivers with a "no excuses, make it happen" attitude. You must possess strong judgement skills, can manage challenging situations, handle administrative tasks, excel with technology, and possess solid written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate effectively balances multiple priorities and works well independently.
