Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Utility Construction Supervisor (Water & Wastewater) to oversee underground utility installations in Midland and Odessa, TX. You will ensure compliance with project specs, municipal standards, and TCEQ regulations.

You will supervise mains, appurtenances, hydrants, valves, and testing, coordinate inspections, and mentor crews while maintaining accurate reports. This role offers relocation assistance and year-round field work in a dynamic urban environment.

Qualifications

• Valid TCEQ Class D Water Operator License.
• Valid TCEQ Class D Wastewater Collection Operator License or Class I (or higher).
• Proven experience installing underground water and sewer utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of utility testing and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of water distribution mains and related appurtenances.
• Oversee the installation of sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and service connections.
• Coordinate the installation of Water mains, Fire hydrants, Valves, Water services, Water meters, Hot taps, Sewer mains, Sewer services, Manholes, Utility fittings and appurtenances.
• Coordinate pressure testing, chlorination, flushing, and bacteriological testing for water systems.
• Coordinate sewer testing, inspections, and final acceptance.
• Collaborate with inspectors, engineers, utility owners, and project management teams.
• Ensure all work complies with City of Midland, City of Odessa, TCEQ regulations, and project specifications.
• Train and mentor utility crews while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and utility installation records.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Utility Construction Supervisor (Water & Wastewater) to oversee the installation of underground utility infrastructure throughout the Midland and Odessa area. This role serves as the field utility expert, ensuring all water and wastewater installations meet project specifications, municipal standards, and applicable TCEQ regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of water distribution mains and related appurtenances.


• Oversee the installation of sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and service connections.


• Coordinate the installation of Water mains, Fire hydrants, Valves, Water services, Water meters, Hot taps, Sewer mains, Sewer services, Manholes, Utility fittings and appurtenances.
