Job summary

LU Service Corp. in Neosho, MO is seeking a Construction Planner I-III to manage the end-to-end process of extending service to customers.

The role involves customer contact, contracts, easements, design, and construction coordination within a utility context. Responsibilities include planning and designing work orders, coordinating with teams to keep projects on schedule, and assisting with disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred
• Electrical utility experience recommended
• Technical degree or engineering degree required or preferred
• CAD experience preferred
• Work Management System experience recommended

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and prepare work orders to ensure completion is consistent with customer needs, company standards, safety and codes
• Coordinate with team to keep jobs on schedule and meet customer expectations
• Arrange contracts and obtain Right of Way as needed
• Provide outstanding customer service in a courteous and professional manner
• Assist other team members and departments with disaster recovery

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Electrical utility experience recommended

Technical Degree or Engineering Degree

Work Management System experience recommended
