Rate of Pay: $229.98/daily

Internal Requirements
  • Must not have a current attendance status of 1st Offense, 2nd Offense, or Dismissal as per the Union Pacific Attendance Policy.

As a Utility Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to support our operations by ensuring the safe transportation of train and engine crews, assisting with vehicle maintenance, performing janitorial tasks, and handling clerical duties. Accountabilities
  • Adhere to safety regulations, protocols, and procedures when transporting crews.
  • Provide clerical support, including ordering supplies, posting bulletins, and preparing reports.
  • Operate office equipment to facilitate workflow.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications - Required
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, safety rules, and regulatory documents.
Qualifications - Preferred
  • Proficiency in computer use and basic software applications.
  • Willingness to work on-call, overtime, various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Normal color vision to interpret visual signals and displays.
Work Conditions
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Compliance with PPE regulations and willingness to work near large equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 150 miles daily and work indoors and outdoors.
