Job Summary

The primary focus will be servicing existing business operationally and financially while maintaining relationships with current customers and developing new business where possible.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for all basic cleaning tasks.
2. Cleaning of restrooms includes restocking toilet tissue and dispensers, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partitions and walls, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
3. Moving furniture, vacuuming, repositioning furniture, emptying trash, and replacing liners.
4. Checking all trash containers prior to moving them.
5. Cleaning tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, and spot cleaning glass.
6. Additional duties include attending to flooded areas, spills, and related cleanup for trash and restroom issues.
7. Restocking carts and closets at the end of each shift.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work assigned hours.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
• Ability to lift, move, and use containers of water, cleaning fluids, and germicidal agents.
• Ability to lift and operate janitorial equipment such as wet mops.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling.

Additional Details

Harvard offers a competitive salary of $19.85/hour, along with benefits including medical, dental, life, long-term disability insurance, and a 401K plan. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 1 am. Harvard is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/D/V.
