Brunswick County Public Utility is seeking a Utility Asset Manager to join the Design and Construction Team. You will lead the asset management program for water and wastewater assets, manage the CMMS, and guide GIS-enabled insights to support long-term infrastructure strategy.

Brunswick County Public Utility is currently accepting applications for a Utility Asset Manager to join our Design and Construction Team. The Utility Asset Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining an Asset Management Plan and program for the utility, and supporting long-term strategic planning efforts to manage utility infrastructure and ensure that utility services are able to support the residential, commercial, and industrial growth of the county.
The Utility Asset Manager will develop, recommend and implement asset management policy and strategy for the Utilities Department. This position will oversee and maintain the County's existing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the strategic management of physical assets involved in the delivery of water and wastewater services to manage risks, optimize operations, and ensure uninterrupted service to customers. Bachelor's degree in information systems, asset management, finance, economics, engineering, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field; AND five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a technical capacity, plus two (2) years of administrative and/or supervisory management experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Must be physically able to operate personal computer, related office equipment, and motor vehicle. Physical demand requirements are for medium work.
