Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC, a global data center leader, seeks a Manager of Utility Asset Management to lead regional programs ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient utility infrastructure across QTS facilities. The role interfaces with operations, engineering, and external partners to drive lifecycle management and governance.

The ideal candidate brings multiple years in HV substations and data center environments, with strong project oversight, training development, and cost planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Energy Management, or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in utility operations or asset management.
• 5+ years supporting operation of high-voltage substations 69kV+.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and turnover activities for utility infrastructure transitioning into operations.
• Develop and maintain utility operations, maintenance, and governance programs for safe asset performance.
• Manage third-party operations and maintenance providers, including contracts and SLAs.
• Develop and oversee utility training and workforce qualification programs.
• Partner with Facilities Operations, Engineering, Utility Development, EHS, Procurement to meet objectives.
• Support asset reliability, maintenance planning, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions for safety and reliability.
• Provide SME guidance on high-voltage asset management and commissioning processes.
