Job summary

The Village at Rockville is seeking a Part-Time Utility Aide (Dishwasher) in Rockville, MD to support our kitchen team.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, keep the dish area organized, restock supplies, and follow health and safety standards to help provide a welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Assist with the removal of trash and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal.
• Restock clean items to designated areas for use by kitchen and dining staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Promptly report any equipment issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow all policies and procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively and assisting coworkers as needed.
