Responsible for general cleaning of the department assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handles infectious waste/spills: cleans quickly and in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Responsible for general cleaning: all bathroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, garbage removal tasks completed daily; all surface wiping, UV lights cleaning and other special projects to be completed as needed
• Stores and replenishes supplies: appropriate weekly inventory reporting, quick and efficient unloading of deliveries, quick and efficient storing of supplies

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23.8144 - $25.9018 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
