Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes and the dish room areas. Additional duties include general cleaning and store room duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Applicants should be able to understand and follow instructions in written and oral form, possess good communication skills, be available for all meal periods, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming dirty dishes and load into the dishwasher for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assist in collecting dirty dishes from various areas and transfer to the dishwashing area.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, and pans per meal period, using proper soap and sanitizer.
• Check dishwasher cleanliness, and clean it at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Inspect dishes, pots, and pans for cleanliness and damage.
• Hand wash non-dishwasher safe items, dry, and return to proper storage.
