  • Administer customer contracts, ensuring compliance, proper invoicing, payment, and timely processing of contribution refunds or defaults.
  • Review and process developer plats, sketches, and Right-of-Way documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the submission and application of construction permits for a variety of projects, maintaining meticulous and retrievable records.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing resourceful and attentive support for issues related to new service lines and main extensions.
  • Update and maintain critical department files and assist with the scheduling and coordination of special meetings, training, and compliance reviews.
  • Compile reports and conduct reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts.

  • Must have prior experience working directly with builders and/or developers to contract new utility main line extensions.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting with or managing the collaboration of teams for new utility installations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. A combination of education and related experience may be considered (e.g., a college/technical degree with 2 years of experience, or 4 years of relevant clerical experience).
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills and applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Role may involve usage of a company vehicle; subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, which may include random drug and/or alcohol testing.
  • Work is primarily in an office environment with prolonged computer use; occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions with some bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Overtime may be required to ensure project completion.
  • Adherence to all company policies and attendance of a defensive driving course may be required.
