TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking a Utility to operate production equipment, palletize, pack, and support quality checks on a night shift. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient operations within a food-manufacturing context.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, following established procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Expect a rotating 7:00pm–7:00am schedule and opportunities to contribute to a high-performing team.

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing a plus.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, complete changeovers, lift, twist, bend, and carry.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and heavy machinery while performing required safety and quality checks.
• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including packaging machines, ovens, and mixers.
• Manually pack products and remove finished goods from the production line as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Lift and handle materials such as film, cartons, cases, and other production supplies as required.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Utility role at the Hanover location is responsible for learning a wide variety of responsibilities, including manually lifting, palletizing, packing, machine operation to include power industrial trucks and quality control. The position is also responsible for completing all required quality assurance checks and maintaining proper documentation. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Operate production equipment and heavy machinery while performing required safety and quality checks.

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including packaging machines, ovens, and mixers.

• Manually pack products and remove finished goods from the production line as needed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.

• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on Crew B shift, which operates from 7:00pm to 7:00am rotating shift:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 7am.

Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 7am.
