ABB is hiring a Manufacturing Manager - NEMA (Utility 18- Operator) for the 1st shift in the United States. The role requires operating machinery to convert raw materials into finished parts following safety guidelines and ABB standard processes.
You will work eight hours a day, five days a week, with overtime as needed and learn to set up press-line equipment while reading orders and blueprints. Reporting to Michael Smith, onsite with hourly pay range $22.70–$28.59.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
Utility 18-Operators must be able to perform these functions in a manner that does not compromise their safety or the safety of coworkers. The auto press operator must be able to perform these tasks for a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. If an employee is unable to perform these essential functions it is their responsibility to bring this to the attention of their supervisor, manager, or Human Resource Manager. In these situations, ABB will discuss and attempt to provide any reasonable accommodation that may be available.
Ability to understand and follow all ABB safety policies, safety training and hazard communication information. This includes but is not limited to wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut resistant gloves, and safety sleeves when required.
