Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in Worcester, MA is seeking a Utility Worker to support daily kitchen operations. You will wash dishes, keep workspaces clean, and assist with basic prep under the Chef Manager’s guidance.

Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour with weekly direct deposits. This full-time role offers benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), PTO, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, and utensils using dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain clean kitchen and equipment, organize stock.
• Receive products from vendors and rotate stock.
• Assist with basic food preparation as needed.
• Follow Chef Manager instructions for other duties.

Utility Job Summary:

The Utility reports to the General Manager. This Utility responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment. Representing not only the client but NEXDINE as well, this Utility needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job.

Utility Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using Dishwasher / Utility Workers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler
• Assist with food prep
• Other duties of theUtility Worker are assigned by the Chef Manager
