Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in Waltham, MA is seeking a Utility Worker to support dining services and facilities operations. The role covers washing dishes, pots and pans, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment under the Chef Manager’s supervision.

You will contribute to great customer service while representing both the client and NEXDINE. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, with a starting pay rate of $22.00–$24.00 per hour and weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwasher or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Receive product from vendors and organize stock
• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler
• Assist with food prep
• Other duties of the Utility Worker as assigned by the Chef Manager

Utility Job Summary

The Utility reports to the General Manager. This Utility responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment. Representing not only the client but NEXDINE as well, this Utility needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job.
