Summary:

The Utility Associate is responsible for various services including, but not limited to, cleaning equipment, floors, workstations, utensils, pots, and pans using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards; checking ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas, and CO2 containers and replacing them if necessary; loading and unloading supply trucks; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position.

Essential Functions:

1. Clean equipment, which may include work tables, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other equipment.
2. Wash utensils, pots, and pans by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine.
3. Return clean utensils, pots, and pans to their proper places.
4. Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
5. Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors using heavy equipment.
6. Clean walls, windows, and steam clean trashcans.
7. Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of products. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck.
8. Load and unload supply trucks.
9. Follow all security and safety procedures established by the company.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

1. Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
2. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
3. Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
4. Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
5. Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.
