Job summary

Great Western Dining is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker at Neosho County Community College. This role maintains kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils while following HACCP and safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds; prior utility/maintenance experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position at the college location.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or dish machine.
• Wash work tables, walls, refrigerators and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Unload grocery deliveries or transfer supplies and equipment as needed.
• Clean equipment and facilities using specific chemicals, ensuring safety & sanitary standards.
• Complies with HACCP and safety policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Utility

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Utility Worker to join our team at our Neosho County Community College location. The Utility position is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Washes dishes or pans by hand or dish machine.


• Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and equipment


• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.


• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.


• May unload grocery deliveries or transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.


• Cleans equipment and facilities using specific chemicals ensuring safety & sanitary standards.


• Complies with all HACCP and safety policies and procedures.


• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Previous experience in a utility or maintenance role is a plus
