Job summary

Ventura Coastal seeks a Utilities Systems Lead to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance of plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration and boilers, at the Tipton facility. You will coordinate maintenance planning, oversee PM/CMMS processes, and partner with Maintenance, Operations, and EHS to drive safe, reliable operation.

The role emphasizes system ownership, risk identification, and continuous improvement, with experience in ammonia systems, PSM programs, and engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience supporting industrial utility systems in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, pumps, and related infrastructure.
• Experience with CMMS for work planning, tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance for utility systems across the Tipton facility.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Monitor system performance, review ammonia readings, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance with PSM, pressure vessel, and boiler requirements.
• Develop job plans, identify parts, and plan resources for maintenance work orders.
