Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated seeks a Process Operator-Utilities to operate and maintain equipment, support safe handling of raw materials and finished products, and ensure quality in a continuous operation environment. The role involves monitoring from the control room, sampling, loading/unloading, and code-compliant GMP practices.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write/speak English, forklift certification or ability to obtain, and familiarity with GMP/food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Forklift experience, or ability to obtain certification.
• GMP and Food Safety knowledge a plus.
• SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanized equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor operations from control room when applicable.
• Sample and test products.
• Prepare railcars and trucks for loading/unloading.
• Pack, inspect, and dump bags or drums.
• Fill tanks or transfer product as needed.
• Move hoses; perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory; handle chemicals safely.
• Perform other duties and cross-train as required.
