Bel Group is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Technician for the C shift in Nampa, ID. The role focuses on maintaining plant utility systems and processing equipment, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, repairs, and coordination of facility tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in maintenance, experience with boiler/gas systems, and the ability to read electrical schematics, with strong English communication and independent work capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance role troubleshooting and repairing utility systems and machines.
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Certified Boiler Operator or experience operating gas-fired boiler systems is strongly preferred.
• Experience maintaining at least two of the following utility systems: Waste Water, Nitrogen Refrigeration, Building Management System and Access Control, Steam, Compressed Air, HVAC.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair facility utility systems (wastewater, HVAC, boilers, nitrogen refrigeration, and related equipment) and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
• Complete work orders and document daily tasks in CMMS.
• Effectively manage projects with regard to time, safety, and resources.
• Work with computer interfaces to monitor equipment.
• Complete paperwork and documentation; ensure regulatory compliance and GMP adherence.
• Support building and grounds maintenance as needed.

This position is for C shift, Thursday-Saturday and E/O Wednesday, 7am- 7pm.

Job Summary:

TheMaintenanceTechnicianforMaterneNorthAmericaisresponsible forperforming and coordinating maintenance forthe plantutility systems and pre-processing production equipment. This position will also be a resource toassistwith general facility and property maintenance for the Nampa, ID plant.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Maintain efficient operation of the facility utility systems (wastewater, HVAC, boilers, nitrogenrefrigeration system,refrigerationequipment, compressed air, steam,and access control) and troubleshoot and repair automated high speed manufacturing equipment
• Complete work orders and document daily work in CMMS
• Effectively manage projects with regard to time, safety, and resources.
• Work with computer interface to monitor equipment
• Complete paperwork and documentation
• Establish and maintain ineffective Preventive Maintenance programs and regulatory compliance programs
• Occasionally perform and/or coordinate maintenance and basic repairs for the building and facilities.
• Occasionally perform and/or coordinate maintenance of the grounds and property, including waste removal, snow removal, landscaping, etc.
• Work on food processing equipment; conveyors, augers, pumps, belts,grinders, choppers, mixers.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues todeterminecomponentreplacement or programming issues.
• Demonstrate the Company’s values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED is required. Additional technical education beyond high school is highly desired.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3years ofexperience in amaintenancerole wheretroubleshooting and repairingutility systems andmachines were main job functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Previousexperience working in the food industry isa preferred.
• Certified Boiler Operator or experience operating gas fired boiler systems is strongly preferred, in addition to experiencemaintaining at least 2 of the following utility systems:
• Waste Water
• Nitrogen Refrigeration
• Building Management System andAccess Control
• Steam

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
• Must have experience reading electrical schematics
• Ability to understand and see "the big picture" and work independently
• Moderate computer skills, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Must have past weldingexperience in carbon and stainless-steel welding
• Must give high attention to detail and consistently maintainhigh standardsof performance
• Able tocommunicate effectively in English, including verbal,reading,and writing
• Basic math skills, includingcompetency with weights and measures

Physical Requirements:

• Must be ablelift upto 40 lbs.regularly
• Must be able to wearappropriate personalprotective equipment, including safety shoes and hearing protection.
• Must be able to workup to 12hours per day and be onone’sfeet for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times per shift
• Must be able to safely bend, squat, kneel and crawl in, on, or under machinery as needed
