The Utilities Facilitator plans, coordinates, and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance activities for industrial and automotive mechanical equipment, systems, buildings, offices, and grounds throughout the various areas of the facility. Ensures the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities by coordinating internal resources and contractors, following up on work orders, and ensuring compliance with maintenance programs, safety standards, quality requirements, and asset reliability objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Install, maintain, and replace electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment, substations, distribution systems, protection, and controls.
- Install, maintain, and replace compressed air generation, distribution, and associated equipment.
- Install, maintain, and replace HVAC systems supporting plant operations and critical areas.
- Install, maintain, and replace instrumentation and control systems
- Meets operational goals by contributing information and recommendations for strategic planning and review, preparing and enacting action plans, maintaining production, productivity, quality, and standards, completing audits, identifying trends, recognizing problems and determining appropriate system improvements and solutions.
- Provide support in the planning and coordination of work orders in the area.
- Provide support in the evaluation and optimization of the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Program.
- Supervises the performance of the instrumentation technician identifies training needs and coordinates them.
- Supervises the performance of the HVAC technician identifies training needs and coordinates them.
- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes requirements by directing or coordinating installation, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Coordination of internal maintenance personnel and external contractors.
- Technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Supervising or training team members.
- Identification and implementation of opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and operating performance.
- Support for capital projects, equipment upgrades, and modifications related to utility systems.
- Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
- Working with a variety of technicians.
- Any other task assigned by the Maintenance Operations Team Lead or Maintenance Manager to ensure the proper and normal functioning of the company and its operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in Automation, Instrumentation or Equivalent (Required)
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Control Engineering or Automation (Preferred)
- 5 - 10 years as a Certified Electrician and Instrumentalist
- 2 - 4 years in Electrical Maintenance Supervision
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Project Management
- 2 - 4 years of experience in CMMS SAP
- 0 - 1 year in Blueprints and Design Analyzing
- 2 - 4 years of experience in the Design and Implementation of Predictive and Corrective Maintenance
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Management systems: ISO 9001, 45000, 14001, 22000 and Control Systems
