DC Army National Guard is seeking a Utilities Equipment Repairer to maintain and repair utilities equipment and special‑purpose support systems both on and off the battlefield.

Your duties include inspecting and repairing electrical equipment, motors, gas engine systems, air conditioner electrical systems, and related components. Training advances readiness for civilian careers in many industries.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• High school diploma or GED; must be at least a junior in high school or above
• Ages 17–35
• Pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair air conditioner electrical systems, air conditioner vapor systems, refrigeration unit electrical systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, fire extinguisher recharging systems and fire extinguishers/valves
