Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Utilities Equipment Repairer to maintain and repair electrical motors, gear, and related systems on base and in the field. This role provides a pathway to civilian careers in any industry using powered equipment, with valuable hands-on training and certifications.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. You’ll earn a paycheck during drill weekends and may receive tuition assistance, healthcare, and retirement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in maintenance or repair of electrical equipment.
• Ability to work in teams and follow safety protocols.
