Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a reliable Utilities Clerk in Houston to support the Produce Department and assist customers on the floor. You will bag groceries, help customers, and ensure the store remains clean and well-maintained throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when requested.
• Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well maintained at all times.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, keep the check stand in good condition, and remove waste from the parking area.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish and English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
